My goal for this project was to create an original tea brand from a selected country. I aimed to create three tea flavors, each representing its own color. I chose France as the country to center my project around and aimed to create a design that centered around France’s traditional artistic beauty while hinting at a little modernism as well.

Pattern Sketches

I wanted to create a pattern that was detailed but still simple enough to be placed repeatedly on a package. My pattern designs are inspired by European tile patterns and I am keeping with that same floral look but making it more modern.

Logo Process

Final Logo

Because the overall design of the packaging is centered around the pattern, I wanted to create a logo that was more simple and mainly type based. The type that I used for the final logo is inspired by the art deco style to point towards that fusion of traditional and modern that I wanted to achieve. Next to the type is one tile panel to finish off the look, however this tile will appear on and off the name, depending on the deliverable.

Final Dieline

Inspired by European tile patterns, I created an elegant floral pattern that spreads around the entire tube. I wanted the main body to be very decorative while having the spaces for the text be more simple, creating a nice contract and balance to the whole look.
